As any sufferer knows, migraines and headaches can be incredibly disruptive and can have serious effects on your day-to-day life but, with the proper diagnosis and treatment, their severity and frequency can be managed. There are many different classifications of headaches and migraine but it’s believed that the majority of conditions originate from the neck. These headaches can be extremely debilitating and may be associated with nausea, dizziness and visual disturbances. Very often, they’re caused by poor posture and increased stress and tension in the neck muscles, which can lead to a loss of mobility in the spinal joints of the neck. Tension in the muscles which move the jaw can also produce headaches, especially if you grind your teeth.
